1. The high airflow filter is balanced perfectly for the 2.5R / 3.3 engine.  It has ram air capability for mid and top end.
2. Very fine powdery dirt is a harsh environment for nitro engines.  The filter cap can be removed to slide out the inner foam.  Dirt ring will show at the end of the foam element.  This will help give information when it is time to clean.
3. This filter with a 60° base is parallel with the chassis and clears the transmission and linkage.  There is also room to add the1/8 scale outer foam element .

This filter with a 15mm base is used on  .12 on-road and off-road engines that have big slide carbs.  Airflow and dirt filtration work especially well for this size 1/10 scale engine.

1. This filter has a 45° base.  Air flows better over top of filter and front of engine for more cooling.

2. Filter base can be changed to fit large and small carbs.  Base kits come with a straight, 45° and 60° base and are available in 10mm and 11mm sizes.
